Miriam is a 30 something woman with a family, friends, and the desire to create. She attended Mount Allison University and later transferred to Studio 58 in Vancouver to study acting. She completed her diploma in Theatre Arts and also had her first baby in the same month. She was 24. Life turned a bit upside down for her. A move to her hometown of Ottawa and a bit more upside downness, and creativity, acting, and writing began taking a back seat to Mothering, cleaning, and earning money.
Today Miriam is married, has another child, and is trying to maintain a relationship with her creativity. Some of the writing you read on this site is simply creative writing. Some are pieces of theatre that she wrote when she had a mind for creating a one-woman show and some are her own personal observations.
